Job Description

InVision is a Professional Recruitment Firm specializing in Engineering, Industrial/Skilled Trades, Information Technology and Professional Services within Canada and the U.S. We have a successful track record working on both small and large recruitment projects, across North America.

Our client a leading manufacturing/disturbition firm is currently seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of information & documentation and provide support to the shift supervisors to ensure accurate shipping and receiving. Please note that this is a night shift starts at 10.00 PM to 6.00 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defines priorities and resource allocation to execute at the start of each shift. Adjusts priorities to ensure execution of dock schedule.
• Stages all work activity for operators and ensures consistent workflow to execute dock priorities.
• Reconciles all completed work activity in SAP as deliveries are picked, staged, loaded, and delivered.
• Coordinates and verifies shunting services to ensure consistency of workflow and execution of all customer drop orders.
• Organizes shunting services, and carrier driver instruction to ensure compliance with pickup, delivery, and placement of trailers in the drop lot.
• Acts as a technical resource for SAP yard management activities which accurately reflects yard inventory.
• Verifies, prepares, and identifies discrepancies for all shipping and receiving documentation in SAP, dock schedule execution, case fill compliance, quality of shipments, order integrity.
• Ensures appropriate standards are met when preparing pallet notes and entering the information into the pallet control system and checking the accuracy of documents. Prepares all picking transfer orders, and full unit load transfer orders.
• Stages all deliveries in advance for Operators to execute.
• Provides administrative support to the warehouse by maintaining, preparing, and processing sales orders accurately.
• Provides support to operators by resolving SAP issues and ensuring consistency of work flow.
• Takes initiative and exercises timely and good judgment in day-to-day business decisions.
• Collaborates closely with operation planning, transportation, and customer service departments.
• Responsible for maintaining compliance of drivers, operators, PPE, GMP policies, and the companies’ quality systems.

Qualifications:

• Completion of College diploma in Business Administration or other related discipline
• 1-3 years’ experience in a customer service role
• Experience working in a warehouse in an Unionized environment would be a definite asset
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail with strong initiative, customer service focused attributes
• Excellent prioritization and communication skills
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power point required.
• Good computer skills, experience in SAP preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Off shift vacation coverage required.
• This job operates on all shifts and may require escalation support during non-standard working hours.
